Brady-Manning: What we'll miss about their classic matchup

Tom Brady and Peyton Manning have played 16 times since 2001. But as Geoffrey Chaucer penned, 'All good things must come to an end.' With Manning out Sunday and his career in doubt because of injuries, here are a few things we'll miss about their matchup.

Jay Cutler's 5 worst games vs. Packers

The Bears QB probably isn't too thankful for tonight's game against Green Bay. After all, Cutler is 1-12 in his career against the Packers, with 23 INTs -- and a handful of "cover your eyes" moments. His worst games

Stafford-Megatron connect again

Matthew Stafford's 4th TD pass of the day -- and second to Calvin Johnson -- increases the Lions' lead over the Eagles to 31-7. It was Johnson's 10th receiving TD in a Thanksgiving game. Follow live

Ahead of tonight's Brett Favre jersey retirement ceremony, look back at the love/hate relationship between the legendary QB and Packers fans.

Brett Favre on Aaron Rodgers: "He's almost too good. Crap, why doesn't he make a mistake every once in a while? All my good records are going to be broken and all my bad ones are going to stay. Throw a pick or four or six -- I tried that once."

LIONS 24, EAGLES 7 (HALF): Detroit is just decimating Philadelphia on Thanksgiving. Matthew Stafford is on pace for 400 yards and the Lions run defense is smothering another opponent. This is the third straight week where Detroit's run defense had looked like the 2014 version, which was the best run defense in the NFL.

Steph Curry compares himself with Messi

The Warriors star said he and soccer great Lionel Messi both have a "creative" style: "It's just about a feel when you're out on the pitch or on the court. I try to do the fancy things out there by going with both hands, making crossover moves and having a certain creativity and flair to my game. That's definitely the style that Messi has when he's out there in his matches."

Panthers cornerback Charles Tillman is stretching and working with the trainer. He is doubtful with a knee injury. It will be a game time decision after he gets through this phase but I would be surprised to see him play.

WR Danny Amendola (knee) was limited in the Patriots practice on Thanksgiving morning. Amendola injured his knee on Monday night and had an MRI on Tuesday. Amendola sprained the knee, according to Comcast SportsNet and is not expected to miss extended time. His status for Sunday nights game against the Broncos, however, remains in question. An additional injury note for New England: OT Sebastian Vollmer (concussion) has been removed from the teams injury report.

Calvin Johnson extends Lions' lead

Detroit is up 24-7 heading into the half, and it's thanks to Mr. Thanksgiving himself: Johnson extended his own record with a 9th receiving touchdown on the holiday. Follow live

Report: Johnny Manziel lied about video

The Browns QB, who was demoted to third string this week after a video surfaced of him partying in a club in Austin, Texas, lied to the team about the timing of the video, a source told ESPN's Pat McManamon. As first reported by Fox Sports, Manziel told the team the video was old, and encouraged his friends to lie to the Browns, as well. Story

Honoring the House that Favre Built

The Packers will honor Brett Favre at tonight's game by retiring his No. 4, a tribute fitting for the guy who helped save Lambeau, according to Ron Wolf. "No one deserves it more than he does. He took this franchise and turned it around." Game-changing

Delanie Walker of the Titans leads all NFL TEs with 53 catches. But in fan voting for Pro Bowl he's not in the top 10. "Is that surprising?" he asked. "No, come on. No fans look at stats. It's all about popularity -- who's a big name, who the NFL pubs. That's who the fans look at. So it's not surprising to me that I'm not even in the top 10. ...I'm just expecting not to be in the Pro Bowl, just like last year."
