Bulls expected to hire Hoiberg Tuesday

Chicago is making a "major announcement" at 3 p.m. ET, the expectation being that the team will reveal the hiring of Iowa State coach Fred Hoiberg. Hoiberg informed his ISU staff and players of his decision Monday before boarding a plane for Chicago, according to ESPN's Jeff Goodman.

Devils to name John Hynes as head coach

Hynes, who has coached the Penguins' AHL team for the last 5 seasons, has reached an agreement with the Devils, according to ESPN's Pierre LeBrun and multiple reports. New Jersey and Pittsburgh must agree on a compensatory draft pick before the deal can be finalized. The Devils have a press conference scheduled for noon ET on Tuesday.
