Maloof Money Cup course revealed

Designs for the Maloof Money Cup Orange County were released Monday. The street plaza-style course, which covers 12,000 square feet at the Orange County Fair and Events Center, is inspired by legendary street spots from skateboarding's California roots.
"Southern California is the birthplace of street skating, with Venice, Santa Monica, and Orange County being the epicenter," said Geoff Rowley, who consulted with California Skateparks on the course design. "This year's course takes design influence from the diversity of the famous, iconic spots."
The park includes tributes to the Santa Monica Pier, the old Venice ledges, the Orange County Sadlands, among others.
The event begins Wednesday, August 4 and runs through August 8.
