Buffalo Bills starting center Eric Wood tore his MCL and could miss the rest of the season, according to the team's website.

Wood was injured in Sunday's 34-18 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The minimum recovery time is two weeks. But with just four games left, Wood may not return this season.

Wood has a history of leg injuries. Last year he tore his ACL and missed the final seven games.

The Bills struggled last year without Wood, who is one of their best offensive linemen. They tried different players at center last year and never found the right combination. Buffalo was 1-6 without Wood last season.

Buffalo guard Kraig Urbik will play center next weekend, according to Bills head coach Chan Gailey.
