I'm back after a week of vacation. My friend "ESPN.com staff" said you all were a civilized bunch, which is good to hear.

Here are the most interesting stories Monday in the AFC East: Morning take: The Vikings are reportedly looking to trade Harvin, who has tremendous ability but had issues with coaches in the past. Wes Welker is New England’s priority to re-sign. Only if talks break down there could Harvin be a stronger possibility.
  • Could Miami Dolphins backup quarterback and pending free agent Matt Moore rejoin the Carolina Panthers?
Morning take: Cam Newton is the unquestioned starter in Carolina. So I expect Moore to look for a place where he can at least compete for a starting job. Moore and the Jets could be an interesting match.
Morning take: The Bills have been searching for a while to find a solid No. 2 option opposite Steve Johnson. Former starter Donald Jones did not get tendered last week, which means one starting spot is up for grabs.
Morning take: Muhammad Wilkerson is the stud of the group. I expect the former first-round draft pick to lead the Jets and take the next step in 2013.
