ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- The Buffalo Bills on Tuesday waived defensive tackle Jay Ross, opening a spot on their 53-man roster.

Ross played in five games as a reserve since being re-signed in September.

The Bills also signed wide receiver Cordell Roberson to the practice squad. Roberson is an undrafted rookie from Stephen F. Austin State University.

Roberson had four catches for 79 yards and a touchdown in three preseason games with the Cleveland Browns.
