Pro Football Focus, which has been up and running for five years, decided to take a look at what players have fared the best over that time span. In breaking down cornerbacks, two AFC North defenders made PFF's top-10 list: the Cincinnati Bengals' Leon Hall and the Cleveland Browns' Joe Haden.

Hall was ranked No. 6 behind more popular names such as Darrelle Revis, Charles Woodson, Brandon Flowers, Champ Bailey and Antoine Winfield. Some might be surprised to see Hall included in a group that has combined for 27 Pro Bowls. While Hall hasn't been to a Pro Bowl or been labeled a shutdown corner, he has been one of the most consistent defenders since being drafted in the first round in 2007. Hall looks fully recovered from the Achilles injury, recording three interceptions in his final four games last season and returning two of them for touchdowns.

Haden was named No. 8 on the list, behind Tramon Williams at No. 7. This is quite an accomplishment for the 24-year-old Haden when you consider he's the youngest player on the top-10 list by three years (Revis and Flowers are both 27). According to PFF, he’s broken up 38 passes in three years and has a 53.4 percent receptions-allowed percentage over that time.

Baltimore Ravens cornerback Lardarius Webb didn't make the grade on the overall top-10 list, but he was named the second-best run defender among cornerbacks. He ranked behind Winfield.

Who do you think is the best cornerback under 30 years old in the AFC North? Record your vote in the poll and send me your reasoning to the AFC North mailbag. Your comment could be used in a blog post later in the week.
