The Texans signed veteran fullback Greg Jones, who has played all nine of his NFL seasons with the Jaguars, to a one-year deal.

In his latest mock draft, NFL.com analyst Gil Brandt sees the Texans selecting Clemson wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins.

Indianapolis Colts

Who's going to be the next free-agent wide receiver the Colts bring in? The Indianapolis Star's Phillip B. Wilson surveys the free-agent landscape.

ESPN's John Clayton called the Colts one of the "big spenders" of free agency so far after the team committed a total of $131.03 million to eight players signed.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Blaine Gabbert, in his first public comments since the end of the season, said he was bothered by anonymous critics within the Jaguars organization who reportedly questioned the quarterback's abilities and intangibles, reports NFL.com's Dan Hanzus.

A chance to compete for a Super Bowl title was the main reason fullback Greg Jones opted to sign with the Texans, reports the Florida Times-Union's Ryan O'Halloran. “Just the direction that Houston is going in right now and where I’m at in my career because I’ve only got so much time left,” Jones said in a phone interview. “The money was pretty much the same.”

Tennessee Titans

The Tennessean's Jim Wyatt grades how the Titans have done so far in free agency.

Delanie Walker left the 49ers for the Titans because he wanted to start. "I wanted to be a starter in this league," Walker said in an interview with NFL.com's Marc Sessler. "Being a second-string tight end for seven seasons is good, but I wasn't the man. I felt like going on my eighth season, I needed to be the guy."

The Titans hosted former Jets wide receiver Chaz Schilens on Wednesday, reports The Tennessean's John Glennon.
