What I think they’re thinking in the headquarters of the Tennessee Titans this afternoon…
Our next opponent, the Jets, may be better than the Steelers. But they aren’t as good as the Texans, who we took to overtime, or the Chargers, who we just beat. We’ve got a confident quarterback coming off a big performance and a team that feels like we’re on a great course. We’ve been fortunate with injuries so far, outside of Shonn Greene. We’ve made more of the key plays in games than we’ve given up. We’ve gotten production out of new pieces and old ones, veterans and rookies. A lot of teams around the league are off to good starts that were unexpected outside their building. What that does for us is increase the buy-in. This staff knows what it’s doing. These teammates can play. Belief in what we’re doing is high. We’ve just got to keep doing it.
