Here are some highlights from our AFC West chat, which was held earlier Thursday:

Denver

John from Neb.: I saw your latest mock draft and I love the pick of Lacy at 28. Do you think they would go RB over CB at that pick?

BW: The need may be greater. If Lacy is a better prospect than the best CB, that could be a factor as well.

Kansas City

Matt from KC: Do you think Tony Moeaki can develop into a Vernon Davis-type target for Alex Smith?

BW: I'm a big Moeaki fan. Really like his game. If he can stay healthy, he is a player. Could really benefit from working with Reid.

Oakland

Mike from NJ: Is it possible that the Raiders could sign J. Ford Veldheer Houston and McFadden to long term deals this year?

BW: Yes, I can see it. But they have to see if Ford is healthy first before thinking long-term deal with him.

San Diego

J.J. from Indy: Do you see the Chargers trading up to ensure they get a top 3 LT in the draft? I think there's a chance Johnson doesn't make it to #11 with Joeckel and Fisher expected to go top 5.

BW: I don't think so, because they have other needs so they want to keep their picks, but they need to get that LT for sure. I think, as of now, Lane Johnson is there at No. 11.
