As schools close for the summer, ESPN analyst Matt Williamson is offering his offseason grades for every AFC team Insider in an Insider piece.

The grades are based off each team’s work in free agency and in the draft and whether the teams improved themselves.

Williamson’s AFC West grades? Well, the Kansas City Chiefs will be thrilled with Williamson and Oakland Raiders will not.

Williamson gave The Chiefs an A-. It was the highest AFC grade along with Baltimore. On the AFC West flip side, Williamson assigned Oakland a C-. It was the lowest AFC grade he gave. Williamson explained why it was a difficult grade to give.

Denver did well, earning a B grade (tied for the second highest grade) from Williamson. San Diego lagged near the end of the curve at a C grade.

What are your thoughts on Williamson’s grades? I’m sure you’re dying to let us all know. Fill up the comment section below.
