BOSTON -- As expected, Boston Bruins rookie defenseman Dougie Hamilton will be in the lineup for Game 2 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals against the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight at TD Garden.

Hamilton replaces fellow blueliner Andrew Ference, who is serving a one-game suspension for his illegal hit on the Maple Leafs’ Mikhail Grobovksi in Game 1.

Also back in the lineup for the Bruins is forward Rich Peverley, who was a healthy scratch for Game 1. That means Kaspars Daugavins will be watching from press level.

Hamilton played a total of 42 games this season, but was a healthy scratch in six of the last nine games of the regular season.
