The Boston Celtics are engaging in a skeleton practice on Monday afternoon.

Celtics coach Doc Rivers gave veterans Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Jason Terry the day off, while Leandro Barbosa is battling an illness. With two rookies in the D-League and Avery Bradley still on the mend, that left seven potential bodies available for Boston during its afternoon session.

Boston is in the middle of three offdays and will practice again on Tuesday before hosting the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night at TD Garden.
