OAKLAND, Calif. -- Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo will not play Saturday night at the Golden State Warriors because of a bruised right thigh and hip.

Rondo participated in the team's morning shootaround. The team announced on Twitter that Rondo is a game-time decision for Sunday's game in Sacramento.

The three-time All-Star had started 25 games for the Celtics this season. He is averaging 13.6 points, 11.7 assists and 5.1 rebounds.

Rondo appeared to tweak his hip while trying to defend Matt Barnes on the blocks during Thursday's game in Los Angeles (see broadcast screenshot below). Rondo hit the floor after taking a little hip check from Barnes, then hobbled off the floor. He did not return.
