The Boston Celtics visit the Toronto Raptors for an exhibition tilt on Wednesday night at the Air Canada Centre (CSN, 7 p.m.). Here's what to watch for:

* LOOKING FOR A STRONG START: While Celtics coach Brad Stevens liked how his team rallied from (another) early hole on Tuesday night in Brooklyn, he'd prefer his charges not have to claw their way back every time out. After a strong showing Saturday against the Knicks, Stevens went with the same starting 5 -- Avery Bradley, Jordan Crawford, Jeff Green, Brandon Bass and Jared Sullinger -- but Brooklyn built a double-digit lead in little more than seven minutes. As the team moves closer to nailing down a starting lineup for the start of the season, Stevens yearns for more consistency.

* O CANADA: This is the first of three trips north of the border over the next 14 days for Boston. The Celtics are back at the Air Canada Centre on Oct. 30 to open the regular season against these same Raptors. Boston also treks to Montreal on Sunday to play the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Bell Centre as part of the NBA's Canada Series.

* WHAT ELSE?: Kelly Olynyk is playing in his native Toronto and coming off a fine effort (10 points, team-best plus-10 before fouling out vs. Brooklyn)... Kris Humphries is playing another of his former teams after putting 12 points and eight rebounds against the Nets... Shooting guard MarShon Brooks, whose playing time has been scarce this preseason, is likely to get a bigger opportunity on Wednesday. Stevens hinted that a couple guys will get reduced workloads on the second night of a back-to-back, opening playing time for the likes of Brooks and Phil Pressey... Can Jeff Green follow through on his word and continue to be more aggressive towards the basket?
