FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- The Patriots announced that 6,390 fans attended the first practice of training camp Friday, which was held during a heavy rainstorm.
That number is a drop from last year, 12,163, which was a single-session record.
But given the weather, it is quite impressive. Fans were lined up outside the gates of the practice field two hours beforehand.
