Wake-up call: Eagles, Part II

August, 7, 2013
(Every day of training camp, we'll have a wake-up call that previews the day ahead.)

10 a.m. -- Bill Belichick news conference (tentative)
10:15 a.m.-12:45 p.m. -- Practice (moved for weather)
Approx. 12:45 p.m. -- Player interviews

The teams also added a Thursday practice to their intinerary (12:30-2:30), which will give them three days of work before the preseason opener Friday night.

Quarterback Tom Brady felt Tuesday was a good experience for the team.

"There was a lot of tempo to the practice," he said. "They like their tempo and we have our own style. It's always nice to work against some different people, some different coverages. Our team is playing a particular style. We've seen that for nine practices in a row and you kind of get used to that and think that everybody’s going to play that way. But we came out today and it's very different than what our defense does, so it's good to get the work in."
