Johnson said Wednesday that he'll "be ready for Sunday," and Jackson is expected to play Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Quarterback Thad Lewis remained out of practice Thursday, nursing sore ribs while battling a flu virus.

Quarterback EJ Manuel was participating in the start of Thursday's practice. He continues to rehab from a knee injury and will not play Sunday.

Wide receiver Chris Hogan and cornerback Brandon Smith were not spotted Thursday at practice. Their status is unclear.
