CHICAGO -- The Chicago Cubs host the Pittsburgh Pirates for three games starting on Friday.

Friday: Edwin Jackson (4-7, 5.11) vs. Charlie Morton (4-7, 3.09), 3:05 p.m.
Saturday: Travis Wood (7-5, 4.48) vs. Vance Worley (0-0, 0.00), 6:15 p.m.
Sunday: Jason Hammel (6-4, 3.02) vs. Brandon Cumpton (2-2, 5.82), 1:20 p.m.

Home cooking: The Cubs have already completed half their road games after finishing a stretch of 20 out of 26 away from Wrigley Field. They'll play 52 of their final 92 games at home where they're 15-14 so far this season.

Who's Hot/Who's Not: Starlin Castro is on fire. He went 17 for 40 (.425) on the road trip including a 3-for-5 day in the finale against the Miami Marlins on Wednesday. He's making an All-Star push with a batting average at .291. He also had 11 RBIs on the recent trip. He has 40 in 70 games after having 44 in 161 games last season. ... Darwin Barney's batting average is just .194 after a 5-for-28 (.178) road trip.
