DALLAS -- Jose Calderon's acclimation with his new team has hit a little hiccup.
Calderon tweaked his hamstring during the Dallas Mavericks' Wednesday morning workout and was limited during Thursday's first practice.
"I don’t know if we’ll even have him try anything tonight," coach Rick Carlisle said. "We got to make sure he’s OK. But it’s not serious.”
The Mavericks are temporarily short on point guard depth. First-round pick Shane Larkin (ankle) and free-agent addition Devin Harris (toe) are still recovering from offseason surgeries. Larkin is expected to be ready to practice before Harris.
"He’s making progress," Carlisle said. "Not close, but he’s getting closer.”
