Injuries: Matt Harrison ready to go Saturday

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- The Texas Rangers are getting close to having a full complement of healthy players.

Matt Harrison (toe) will make his next start Saturday as planned in the home game of the two split-squad affairs scheduled for tomorrow. He is slated to throw four or five innings depending on his stamina. The other game is being played at Cashman Field in Las Vegas.

Other injury notes:

  • RHP Colby Lewis (surgery - torn flexor tendon) and Joakim Soria (Tommy John surgery) both threw a bullpen session Friday.

  • C Eli Whiteside (mild left calf strain) has resumed baseball activities and is listed as day-to-day.

  • LHP Martin Perez (fractured left ulna) is not expected to resume a throwing program for approximately four weeks.
