Injuries: Colby Lewis, other pitchers to be examined

Once healthy, Lewis, Perez and McClellan all provide potential additional depth to the rotation as possible options for the No. 5 starter job.
Soria, who was signed as a free agent in December during his recovery from his second Tommy John surgery, figures to play a key role in the Rangers bullpen later this season.
Lewis (surgery -- torn flexor tendon) and Soria (Tommy John surgery) both continue throwing bullpen sessions.
Perez (fractured left ulna) is not expected to resume a throwing program for approximately 2-3 weeks.
McClellan (strained lat muscle) is not expected to resume a throwing program for 3-4 weeks.
