Bloomberg published its list of the values of the 30 Major League Baseball teams and estimated the Texas Rangers at $1.01 billion.

Bloomberg breaks up that value as follows:

* Team value: $775 million (9th overall)

* Regional sports network: $120 million (11th)

* MLB advanced media: $110 million

The web site also lists several other factors, including attendance, parking and concessions. You can read all about that here.

As you might expect, the New York Yankees are the highest valued franchise at $3.280 billion, followed by the Los Angeles Dodgers ($2.1 billion) and the Boston Red Sox ($2.060 billion). Tampa Bay was last at $530 million.
