Thanks to the recent deal between ESPN and HBO, under which the networks agreed to share content around major boxing pay-per-view events, there will be an encore broadcast of the fourth fight between Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez on ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes.
The Dec. 8 fight took place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and ended with Marquez scoring a massive one-punch knockout at the end of the sixth round against his rival in their welterweight showdown. It was the ESPN.com fight of the year and knockout of the year and is the heavy favorite to win fight of the year honors from the Boxing Writers Association of America when balloting results are announced in the coming weeks.
ESPN Deportes will replay the fight Friday at 9 p.m. ET and Jan. 26 at 10 p.m. ET. ESPN2 will re-air the fight Feb. 8 at 8 p.m. ET.
On ESPN Deportes, Marquez, who serves as an analyst for the network’s boxing studio show, and co-host Jorge Eduardo Sanchez will discuss the action between rounds throughout the fight.
