Since the fight was made I have been looking forward to seeing super middleweight titlist Carl Froch’s defense against British countryman George Groves on Nov. 23 at the Phones 4u Arena in Manchester. I think it’ll be a highly entertaining fight, one that also has significance in a good division.

But where, oh where, would it air in the United States, if anywhere? HBO has the Manny Pacquiao-Brandon Rios pay-per-view that day, so that was a nonstarter. Showtime only does business with Golden Boy these days, no exceptions. It would have been an obvious fight for Epix, but it is out of the boxing business, hopefully only for the time being.

Now we have our answer -- the fight will air live in the U.S. on AWE (and also stream on awetv.com.) AWE (the former WealthTV), is available nationally on a very limited basis, but the streams it has for fights have been flawless.
