Why Gordon is in high demand

Three schools remain in the race for one of high school basketball's top prospects. Aaron Gordon (San Jose, Calif./Archbishop Mitty) is ranked No. 7 on the ESPN 100, No. 3 among uncommitted players. Washington, Arizona and Kentucky are vying for his services, and there appears to be no set timetable for a decision. Each program has plenty to offer the youngster, as UW is close to home, U of A could slide him right into a significant role with seniors like Solomon Hill and Kevin Parrom on their way out and UK has built its reputation of late on getting players like Gordon a shot at a National Championship and a quick path to the NBA.
