Grantham reclassifying

We have written extensively about Donte Grantham, a 6-foot-8 forward who, somehow, remained uncommitted throughout the spring and was arguably the best remaining prospect available. Grantham, who was the top player in West Virginia, was being courted by a handful of high-major programs, and as ESPN's Adam Finkelstein recently reported, he was close to committing to West Virginia or VCU before narrowing his list to WVU, George Mason, or Marshall. Finkelstein notes Grantham decided to take one more trek through the grassroots scene -- a unique decision, considering most seniors have either decided on a college, or made their choice to go the junior college or post-grad route.
