Here is the final injury report from both teams:
Probable: QB Ryan Tannehill (shoulder), OT Bryant McKinnie (knee), LB Dannell Ellerbe (shoulder), WR Brandon Gibson (hip), CB Brent Grimes (back), LB Koa Misi (knee), CB Dimitri Patterson (groin), DE Cameron Wake (knee)
Analysis: The Dolphins are healthy again after their recent bye. All of their injured players are probable. Tannehill has an injury to his throwing shoulder, which is always a concern. But it’s only wear and tear at this point and he will play on Sunday. Ellerbe has practiced all week and made a lot of progress. McKinnie’s role is a mystery but not because of injury. McKinnie was acquired in a trade on Monday with the Baltimore Ravens and had to quickly learn the offense. His role will be determined closer to game time. If McKinnie does not start, struggling veteran Tyson Clabo will remain in the starting lineup at right tacke.
Questionable: WR Danny Amendola (concussion, groin), RB Brandon Bolden (knee), OL Marcus Cannon (shoulder), WR Julian Edelman (thigh), TE Michael Homanawanui (knee), CB Aqib Talib (hip), DB Tavon Wilson (hamstring)
Analysis: The big return for New England is Amendola, who says he will play on Sunday. He has a long injury history but has been productive when he's been on the field. With Amendola returning for this game and Pro Bowl tight end Gronkowski back for the second time this season, the Patriots’ passing game is getting closer to full strength. New England may not be without its top corner: Talib. That would mean Miami receivers Mike Wallace and Brian Hartline could have an easier time getting open. Kelly being ruled out also impacts New England’s run defense. Fellow Patriots defensive tackle Vince Wilfork is already out for the year.
