Kershaw's MVP chances

Andrew McCutchen, Yadier Molina, Joey Votto, Paul Goldschmidt ... they are among the top position players who have put themselves in position to contend for the National League MVP award.

But with the type of season Clayton Kershaw is having in Los Angeles -- he leads all major league starters in ERA (1.89), WHIP (0.92) and WAR (6.6) -- could this be the year that a NL pitcher brings home the MVP for the first time since Bob Gibson in 1968?
