Senior running back Akrum Wadley (Newark, N.J./Weequahic) did not have a single scholarship offer until Jan. 21st, when Temple reached out, but he is now ready to play in the Big Ten for Iowa, NJ.com reports.
The 5-foot-10, 180-pound prospect was recruited by Hawkeyes secondary / special teams coach Darrell Wilson. Wadley spent the weekend in Iowa City, Ia. on an official visit.
"It reminds me of where I grew up in South Jersey in Willingboro," Wadley told NJ.com. "The campus is incredible. They have a nice indoor facility and I watched clips of the fans on YouTube and they are really into it. It's the Big Ten and I want to compete at the highest level."
