Osi Umenyiora has been negotiating a new deal with the Atlanta Falcons and will sign soon.

ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter says it's no longer a question of if but rather when the Giants' free-agent pass rusher will sign with the Falcons. Umenyiora said last week that he would like a chance to win in Atlanta, where he lives in the offseason.

The Giants likely will move Mathias Kiwanuka back to defensive end full time, but they can still use another pass rusher either via the draft, free agency or from their roster (Adrian Tracy, Adewale Ojomo and Justin Trattou).
