A quick run through NFC West schedules shows the San Francisco 49ers leading the way with five prime-time games in 2013.

The Seattle Seahawks are next with four, followed by the St. Louis Rams with two and the Arizona Cardinals with one.

Four of those 12 games involve division opponents. That means there are eight actual prime-time games involving NFC West teams.

Those eight games include:
  • Week 2: 49ers at Seahawks (Sunday)
  • Week 4: 49ers at Rams (Thursday)
  • Week 5: Houston at 49ers (Sunday)
  • Week 7: Seahawks at Cardinals (Thursday)
  • Week 8: Seahawks at Rams (Monday)
  • Week 12: 49ers at Washington (Monday)
  • Week 13: New Orleans at Seahawks (Monday)
  • Week 16: Atlanta at 49ers (Monday)

This is the second consecutive season NFC West teams have combined to play eight games in prime time. The 2012 total was lower before flex scheduling. The 2013 total could rise if late-season games become more attractive.
