Let's take a look at ESPN.com's Week 12 Power Rankings, which reflects a changing of the guard in the NFC North:

4. Green Bay Packers
Trending: Up two after a 24-20 victory over the Detroit Lions.
Comment: The Packers have won five consecutive games, tied with the Denver Broncos for the longest active streak in the NFL. It's been good enough to put them in a virtual lead in the division.

6. Chicago Bears
Trending: Down three after a 32-7 pummeling from the San Francisco 49ers.
Comment: Via ESPN Stats & Information, the Bears' seven victories have come against opponents whose combined record is 25-44-1. Their three losses are against teams that are 23-6-1. You can draw you own conclusions.

14. Minnesota Vikings
Trending: No change after a successful bye week.
Comment: The Vikings are set to play the Bears twice and the Packers once in the next three weeks. Their season probably will be decided, one way or the other, in that stretch.

19. Detroit Lions
Trending: Down two after a 24-20 loss to the Packers.
Comment: It doesn't get any easier for the Lions to turn their season around. They have a short week to prepare for the NFL's top team, the 9-1 Houston Texans.
