Is there a chance that Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will play Sunday at Baltimore? Roethlisberger didn't shoot down the possibility.
"I'm going to try," Roethlisberger told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Ron Cook. "It's killing me to watch."
The Steelers have lost both games that Roethlisberger has missed with rib and shoulder injuries. In those losses, the Pittsburgh offense has scored two touchdowns and has produced 17 total points.
ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported Sunday there is a possibility that Roethlisberger could return to play at the first-place Ravens, who lead the Steelers by three games in the AFC North. Roethlisberger's pain tolerance and range of motion could determine whether he plays next week, according to the report.
Getting back Roethlisberger is key for the Steelers to beat the Ravens. Pittsburgh is 0-5 since 2005 against Baltimore without Roethlisberger.
