According to Dreger, the Blues are still looking to add a defenseman for the stretch run. Problem is, they're not alone. There aren't a ton of quality blueliners available this time of year, although that could change as teams fade from playoff contention and begin to cut bait.
However, as Lyle Richardson of the Hockey News points out, another factor that could prevent the Blues from getting a worthwhile return for Stewart is that fact that he's restricted free agent after this season, and could receive a substantial raise via arbitration.
