We're less than four weeks away from national title game, which means we're just more than four months away from the NFL draft.
Too early? Never. And, if Mel Kiper's and Todd McShay's forecasts prove correct, two of Notre Dame seniors will reap quite the rewards after turning down potential first-round draft selections last season for another year of school.
Both Manti Te'o and Tyler Eifert crack Kiper's and McShay's draft boards, with Te'o coming at No. 2 overall on Kiper's Big Board. McShay has both players going in the first round in his latest mock draft.
Kiper also has both among the top-five players in their position groups in their respective classes, with Eifert falling into the junior category since, technically, he has one year of eligibility remaining after this season.
Braxston Cave is among Kiper's top senior centers, too.
