My Top 25, Heisman votes

October, 8, 2013
Alabama and Tajh Boyd remained on top of my Power Rankings and Heisman Watch, though Marcus Mariota is currently the favorite in the latter category.

Mariota's team, meanwhile, is making a strong push for the top spot in the Power Rankings, as Oregon fell just 10 votes short of the Crimson Tide for No. 1 this week.

Notre Dame once again remained unranked in the power rankings, and colleagues Mark Schlabach and Brad Edwards both have the Irish slated for the New Era Pinstripe Bowl against Rutgers. If some of the Scarlet Knights' wild finishes so far this season are any indication of what is to come, well, we could all be in for an entertaining, high-scoring affair at Yankee Stadium come December. (Haven't said that about the Bronx Bombers in a while, have we?)

Here is how I voted in this week's Power Rankings and in Heisman Watch. (Of note: I do not have a vote in the Associated Press poll or a vote for the Heisman Trophy.)
