Patrice Bergeron out of lineup

BOSTON -- Patrice Bergeron returned from the Olympics with a gold medal and an injured left groin that would sideline him Tuesday night against Montreal at TD Garden, he explained after he was the only Bruins player missing from the team's morning skate.

"I pulled my groin in the first week of the tournament. It was fine and then the last game it got a little worse so it should be fine, but it's day-to-day," he said.

In Bergeron's place, head coach Claude Julien inserted Vladimir Sobotka. ...
