Source: Deal worth $13.5 million

The New England Patriots and outside linebacker Tully Banta-Cain finalized a contract Friday that will keep the team's top pass rusher in the fold for the next three seasons.

The three-year, $13.5 million contract could increase in total value to $18 million if Banta-Cain reaches certain incentives, according to a source. The deal includes a $6 million signing bonus and a $1 million base salary in 2010, meaning that Banta-Cain will earn $7 million this season.
