Ellsbury 'really tender,' says Francona

BOSTON -- Red Sox outfielder Jacoby Ellsbury is not getting better. If anything, he could be getting worse so the club is sending him to be re-examined at 11 a.m. Friday.

Manager Terry Francona said the club and its medical staff looked at pictures from his MRIs taken on Wednesday.

"He's really tender," said Francona.
