Source: Neely to be B's president

BOSTON -- The Boston Bruins will hold a press conference on Wednesday to announce Cam Neely has been named team president, a source told ESPN.com.

The Bruins announced Tuesday that they scheduled a "major announcement" for Wednesday.

The former Bruins forward and Hall of Famer has served as the organization's vice president and alternate governor for the past two years. Neely has worked closely with general manager Peter Chiarelli and the hockey operations staff. He has ...
