No decision yet on Wes Welker

New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick remained noncommittal on Wednesday when asked whether receiver Wes Welker will play in the team's first preseason game on Thursday against the Saints.

Welker, who underwent reconstructive left knee surgery over the offseason, has been participating in full-contact drills during the team's training camp. He fully participated in joint practices with the Saints on Tuesday and Wednesday.
