Felix Doubront will stay off DL

BALTIMORE -- Boston Red Sox left-handed reliever Felix Doubront has a mild strain of his upper pectoral muscle near the collarbone on his glove side, manager Terry Francona said Wednesday, and will not pitch for the remainder of the series versus the Orioles.

Doubront flew back to Boston on Wednesday morning from Baltimore and was given both an MRI and a CT scan to determine the source of his discomfort. Those tests came back negative, Francona said, and Doubront will not require a trip ...
