Red Sox, Ellsbury fine, says Epstein

Boston Red Sox general manager Theo Epstein said he doesn't expect outfielder Jacoby Ellsbury's rib injury and the ensuing controversy to carry over into next season.

He also said that if the team had taken a CT scan of the rib area sooner, Ellsbury wouldn't have been able to return to the lineup sooner but could have been spared some undeserved criticism.
