No suspension for Milan Lucic

BOSTON -- Bruins forward Milan Lucic was not suspended for his match penalty against the Atlanta Thrashers during Thursday's game at TD Garden.

He was given the penalty at 15:54 in the third period when he punched Thrashers defenseman Freddy Meyer during a scrum when both players were being contained by the refs. The scrum was the result of a high hit by Meyer on Lucic that resulted in the scrum and several fights.

Lucic was fined a total of $3,500 for the incident.
