Paul Pierce sprains ankle

Celtics captain Paul Pierce sprained his right ankle after landing awkwardly on a breakaway slam in the final moments of Boston's 93-79 triumph over the Toronto Raptors Sunday.

After Glen Davis intercepted a pass near midcourt, he fed Pierce going the other way for a one-handed jam with 1:34 to play.
