Patrice Bergeron needs stitches

WILMINGTON, Mass. -- Boston Bruins assistant captain Patrice Bergeron was taken to the hospital to receive stitches and X-rays after he was hit in the face by a puck during practice Tuesday morning at Ristuccia Arena.

Bruins coach Claude Julien said the X-rays were precautionary, and he fully expects Bergeron to be ready for Wednesday's game against the Montreal Canadiens.
