Brad Marchand to meet with NHL

BOSTON -- The Boston Bruins have confirmed that forward Brad Marchand will have a disciplinary hearing with the NHL at 11:30 a.m. ET Thursday morning (pushed back from an original time of 10 a.m.) as a result of his hit to the head of the Blue Jackets' R.J. Umberger during Tuesday's game in Columbus.

With eight minutes remaining in the second period, Umberger did not have control of the puck in the neutral zone when Marchand caught the Blue Jackets' forward from behind with an elbow. ...
