HOUSTON -- The Boston Red Sox reached the statistical halfway point of the season Friday night in their come-from-behind 7-5 victory over the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park. They find themselves with the second-best record in the American League at 47-34, which leaves them 2 1/2 games behind the New York Yankees in the AL East.
