With six home runs against the Orioles, Boston powers its way back to first place

BOSTON -- It was an explosive night for the Boston Red Sox.

Not only were they rewarded with a 10-4 victory over the Baltimore Orioles on Thursday night at Fenway Park, they are also back in first place in the AL East for the first time since June 24, thanks to the Yankees losing to the Tampa Bay Rays.

Boston has now won seven of its past eight games.
